Director

Shawn Miller is the director of the award-winning Loveland Show Choirs, which are aided by a student crew and a student show band made up of more than 25 musicians from the school’s band program. Loveland High School’s music programs are strong, with three concert choirs in the choral program, all directed by Miller. He also directs the annual plays and musicals at the high school.

Miller is a 1996 graduate of Northern Kentucky University and holds a Master’s Degree from Nova Southeastern. He started his teaching career at Loveland Middle School where he founded the middle school show choir “Revolution”. He took over the high school show choir “By Request” in 2006. In the 2014-2015 season he also founded the high school’s all-female show choir “Allure,” which, like By Request and Revolution, has earned top honors across the country. In addition to teaching four classes of choir that compete in OMEA and managing the entire districts’ show choirs outside of school, he directs the high school’s drama club which puts on two productions of its own every fall and spring, and competes in the Greater Cincinnati “Cappies” Awards circuit.
